Despite the constant negative news regarding the economy, we have found business to be very healthy at the start of this year. We believe it is because customers are looking that bit harder for deals on their computer equipment and are no longer satisfied that traditional retail stores can deliver value.

 

We have benefited from this trend and without wishing to bang our drum, our reputation for providing excellent service means that customers will buy from us with confidence.

 

It is not all rosy news however, the value of sterling (£) compared to the euro & dollar means that we are paying extra to import computer products into the UK. Although we try and minimise price rises to the consumer, it is inevitable that price will go up in the short term.

 

I will console myself with the fact that at least we have products that customers actually want. Both Vauxhall & Ford have had to increase prices this week on products that no one wants!
